Konchem Ishtam Konchem Kastam

By Moviebuzz The story is set in the backdrop of a village where Geeta (Tamannaah) grows under the doted shade of her father Subramanyam (Nasser) who takes care of everything for her and she is equally attached to him.

She comes to Hyderabad for her further studies and stays at her uncle Gachibowli Diwakar (Brahmanandam) house, her cousin has a group of friends and one among them is the happy and playful Siddharth (Siddharth).

He is a big Casanova among girls and though he always has a smile on his face, there is a sad past as his mother Rajyalakshmi (Ramya) is living separately from his father Prakash (Prakashraj).

Apparently both of them had a love marriage. Eventually, both Siddhu and Geeta fall in love and the time comes for Siddhu to ask Geeta's hand in marriage. Subramanyam says that if Siddhu can unite his parents and get them together, he is willing for the proposal.

From then on starts the efforts and trials of both Siddhu and Geetha to get Prakash and Rajyalakshmi together. Whether they are successful or not and will Siddhu be in a position to marry Geeta or not forms the rest of the story.

. Siddarth and Tamannaah are the best match to make a romantic pair on the screen. Their performance would raise kudos from one and all in the theatres. The role done by Prakash Raj on the lines of Bommarillu and Novvosthanante Nenoddantana is noteworthy. All other characters came out with decent histrionics as per the script.

The film had a very decent idea of building up the importance of family and the need for love more than anything else but then since the subject is related to emotional issues, it was expected to hold the nerves at few points and before the audience could feel it, the next scene came in.

There are a few instances where theBommarillu hangover is felt. The film could have been a lot better had the makers focused on bringing in more gravity than melodrama at emotional scenes. However, the star value and the breezy screenplay will take the movie to a decent mark and it could be an option to watch the movie with families. The production values are superb. The cinematography is another plus point. The songs and music division are impressive.

While the first half passes off peacefully with the share of laughs and the eventual romance, it is the second half that takes a slow turn into seriousness and melodrama. This climax to some extent is not digestable owing its desperate shades. It might appeal more to the A class audience and its run might notbe felt with intensity in other centers.

Verdict: A good family drama
